Modules are a compact, flexible, and low cost solution for mobile and space constricted applications. What Are the Advantages of LCF’s DC Open Architecture Modules?

Apart from their ability to be customized to fit ideally into your specific application, our RF DC modules have several other key advantages. These include:

  • Separate bias inputs and drain feedthroughs. These permit either Class A or Class AB biasing. Turning off the bias will disable the RF amplifier
  • Separate bias control terminals at each MOSFET gate for gain control flexibility
  • A low loss output matching network for efficient and secure functioning
  • Separate power supply terminals for each MOSFET drain for amplifier protection
