Small Size, State-of-the-Art Efficiency

Many applications require an amplifier module alone without an integrated power supply, because of size and weight constraints or for lower cost. LCF has developed a unique design which we call an "OPEN ARCHITECTURE MODULE" to provide our customers with more flexibility to customize our module to their application.

The important advantages are:

Separate bias control terminals at each MOSFET gate for good flexibility in gain control  Separate power supply terminals for each MOSFET drain for effective amplifier protection
A low loss output matching network for high efficiency and optimum stability  Separate bias inputs and drain feedthroughs permit either Class A or Class AB biasing. Turning off the bias disables the amplifier.

More detailed applications notes are available from LCF upon request. Our amplifier modules can be wired inside for your convenience with only input and output SMA connectors.

In addition to our STANDARD we are happy to CUSTOMIZE to your requirements. Minor customization to our standard designs can be the same price as our standard model. Higher power than listed are available through power combining of our amplifier modules at the factory.
